Most extreme skiing films focus on the exploits of male skiers, but "Pretty Faces," which plays tonight at the Wheeler Opera House, showcases some of the adventuresome women who take part in the sport. Lynsey Dyer's ski film features Jacqui Edgerly, who grew up in Aspen, and aims to inspire young girls and women to follow their dreams with confidence. The film screens at 7:30 tonight and a panel discussion and Q and A follows, with Edgerly and other local pro skiers and boarders Christy Mahon, Jordie Karlinski and Darcy Conover. Tickets available at www.wheeleroperahouse.com.
